Kronic...how else are the bench/reserve players supposed to get match sharpness and push the current first choice players for places, if they don't play in games like these?
Every single club plays their reserve team in these fixtures. our reserve team should be able to beat Sheffield Utd, if they don't then they should be playing in League One.
I couldn't care less about beating Sheffield Utd or this cup to be honest...its a waste of time and energy. you'll get to the Semis and play Chelsea or Man City, who we just cannot beat. Every second level club that does well in this competition ends up nearly relegated..
Southampton, much more important...IMO

With them only having around 1000, 25k would be a decent turnout, although with the history, school holidays, the pricing, the win on Saturday and the amount of time that has elapsed since we played these pricks I would have thought West Ham fans would be all over this one.
